Police Blotter: Hate violence, grand theft, vandalism

This report covers a selection of incidents from May 18 to May 23 as recorded in the Stanford University Department of Public Safety (SUDPS) bulletin. 

Monday, May 18

  • Between 11:45 a.m. April 4 and 5:30 p.m. May 18, there was a petty theft at Escondido Village Studio 2. 

Tuesday, May 19

  • Between 7:30 p.m. May 15 and 11:30 a.m. May 19, a bike was stolen from Thorburn  Court. 
  • At 5 p.m., there was an incident of non-criminal hate violence at Terra House. 
  • Between 2 p.m. March 16 and 5 p.m. May 19, there was a grand theft at the Center for Clinical Sciences Research. 

Wednesday, May 20

  • At 8:30 p.m., there was an incident of battery at the Oval. 

Thursday, May 21

  • Between 5 p.m. May 14 and 6 p.m. May 21, a vehicle parked near Escondido Village 6 was burglarized. 

Saturday, May 23

  • Between 12 p.m. May 16 and 12 p.m. May 23, there was an act of vandalism at the Rains Apartments Building 238.
