Full Moon on the Quad 2015 photo gallery

Oct. 28, 2015, 1:36 a.m.

Full Moon on the Quad happened Tuesday night, bringing students from around campus out into the rain late, dressed in their best and brightest colors. Traditionally, Full Moon on the Quad happens on the first full moon of fall quarter, when senior undergraduate boys each bring a single rose and line up to give freshman girls a rose and a kiss. Today, Full Moon on the Quad brings any and all students, and many come dressed in crazy colors or not dressed at all. An LED wall announced the countdown to 11:30 p.m on Tuesday, when students were encouraged to kiss one another, with consent. Photos by Kristen Stipanov and Tara Balakrishnan.
