Anderson writing competition, win $500

Jan. 29, 2015, 9:07 p.m.

If you’re a writer, there are an increasing number of opportunities on campus to share your talents. But here’s one that will give you money! The Stanford Creative Writing Program opened up a new competition for undergraduate students to submit a one-page piece fiction, creative non-fiction or poetry inspired by the new Anderson Collection of modern and contemporary art. If you win first-place, there’s a prize of 500 bucks, which is nothing to scoff at. The deadline is April 14, a perfect time to replenish an empty bank account for spring quarter.
