ASSU Senate funding reform, women’s soccer seniors and Morris’ USMNT debut

Nov. 20, 2014, 12:52 a.m.

The ASSU Senate discussed a bill for a new funding system on Tuesday night. The Daily’s editorial board argued that while the reform is needed, there is too little time to debate the bill before Dead Week, when a special election will be held for undergraduates. We sat down with seniors Lo’eau LaBonta and Chioma Ubogagu ahead of women’s soccer’s round of 32 match on Friday. The U.S. Men’s National team was embarrassed in a 4-1 loss to Ireland on Tuesday, but Stanford sophomore Jordan Morris made his first appearance for Jurgen Klinsmann’s squad.
