Police Blotter: Assault, grand theft and vandalism

Tuesday, April 30

  • Indecent exposure between 8:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. on April 29 was reported at 520 Lasuen Mall Street (Old Union). 
  • Petty theft of an electric scooter between 9 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. was reported at 494 Lomita Mall (Skilling Building & Auditorium).
  • A hit-and-run collision resulting in property damage, including damage to vehicles, between 6:50 a.m. and 4:46 p.m. on April 29 was reported at 453 Quarry Road on the 3rd floor of the parking garage.

The Daily has reached out to SUDPS regarding the indecent exposure at 520 Lasuen Mall and the hit-and-run collision at 453 Quarry Road. 

Wednesday, May 1

  • Grand theft of a bicycle between 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. on April 30 was reported at 520 Lasuen Mall Street (Old Union). 
  • Grand theft of an electric bicycle between 12 p.m. on April 28 and 7:30 p.m. on April 30 was reported at 439 Lagunita Drive (Faculty Club). 
  • Assault with intent to rape at 3:30 p.m. was reported at an unknown time and date at 450 Jane Stanford Way. 
  • Second degree burglary from a motor vehicle between 2:40 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. was reported at 420 Museum Way (Museum Way — Lot 3). 
  • Grand theft of money, labor or property between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. was reported at 700 Block Campus Drive.

Thursday, May 2

  • A student safety report was reported at 450 Jane Stanford Way. 
  • Petty theft between 5 p.m. on April 26 and 10 a.m. on May 1 was reported at 735 Campus Drive (EVGR Building B). 

The Daily has reached out to SUDPS regarding the student safety report at 450 Jane Stanford Way. 

Friday, May 3

  • Failure to control a dangerous animal causing serious bodily injury between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. was reported at 849 Pine Hill Road. 
  • Harassment through electronic material was reported at an unknown time and date at 450 Jane Stanford Way. 
  • Vehicle theft without owners’ consent under false pretenses, swindling or confidence games between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. on May 1 was reported at 351 Bonair Siding Road.
  • Petty theft between 6 p.m. on May 2 and 8:40 a.m. on May 3 was reported at 781 Escondido Road (Blackwelder Highrise).
  • Aggravated battery of a person at 1 p.m. was reported  at 618 Escondido Road (Stern Hall — Dining & Kitchen). 
  • Infliction of corporal injury on a spouse, cohabitant or partner at 10 a.m. on May 2 was reported at 233 Bonair Siding Road. 
  • Use of offensive words in a public place at 7:45 p.m. was reported at 528 Lasuen Mall (White Plaza).
  • Obstruction and resistance of peace officers and emergency medical technicians at 7:45 p.m. was reported at 528 Lasuen Mall (White Plaza).
  • The possession of and purchase of a projectile tear gas weapon at 7:45 p.m. was reported at 528 Lasuen Mall (White Plaza).
  • Second degree burglary from a motor vehicle between 8:45 p.m. on April 30 and 9:20 p.m. on May 3 was reported at 200 Rosse Lane (Hundred Block). 

The Daily has reached out to SUDPS regarding the battery at 618 Escondido Road, corporal injury at 233 Bonair Siding Road and use of offensive words at 528 Lasuen Mall.

Saturday, May 4

  • Vandalism at 2:17 a.m. was reported at 475 Via Ortega (Huang Engineering Center). 
  • Second degree burglary of a motor vehicle at 1:30 p.m. was reported at 300 Lomita Drive (Hundred Block). 
  • Petty theft between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. was reported at 737 Campus Drive (Quillen Highrise). 
  • First degree burglary and breaking and entering into a student residence between 5 p.m. on May 1 and 5 p.m. on May 4 was reported at 326 Santa Teresa Street (Lagunita — Eucalipto). 

Sunday, May 5

  • Vandalism of less than $400 was reported between 1 p.m. on May 3 and 10 a.m. on May 4 was reported at 450 Jane Stanford Way (Building 20). 
  • Vandalism of less than $400 at 9:44 a.m. was reported at 450 Jane Stanford Way. 
  • Grand theft of money, labor or property between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. was reported at 664 Lomita Court (Kappa Alpha). 
  • Vandalism of less than $400 at 6:36 p.m. was reported at an unknown address on Escondido Road.
