Though photographers reserve the right to take pictures of protesters in public, The Daily has chosen to not publish images that could easily reveal the identities of those who are depicted.

In the first week of June Avery Krieger, a PhD student studying neuroscience ’21, attended protests calling for Minnesota police to be held accountable for the death of George Floyd and for a national end to police brutality against Black people. Krieger attended marches held on campus and in East Palo Alto and San Jose.
