Dec. 8, 2014, 6:04 p.m.

The Vaden Health Center has notified the Department of Health after approximately 20 cases of vomiting and diarrhea were reported by students on the Row at the end of last week, according to Robyn Tepper, director of medical services at Vaden.

Director of Vaden Ira Friedman said that although no source has been found, community managers and residential assistants are notifying residents in houses with sick students to follow appropriate hygiene and self-care measures to prevent potential spread of illness.

“We are working to identify the causal agent or ‘bug,’ but have not found it yet,” Friedman said.
